Make a Splash with These Mermaid-Inspired Melt and Pour Soaps
Updated: Mar 15, 2023
Mermaids and underwater themes are incredibly popular, especially when it comes to kids' activities. Melt and pour soap making is a great way to get creative and make some fun soap designs that kids will love. Here are some ideas for mermaid and underwater themed melt and pour soap designs that kids can do:
Mermaid Tails: To make mermaid tail soap, melt some clear melt and pour soap base and add some blue colorant to give it a watery look. Pour the soap into a mermaid tail mold, let it cool for a few minutes, and then add a small amount of green soap base to create the scales. Add a little bit of glitter for some sparkle, and voila - you've got a beautiful mermaid tail soap!
Sea Shells: Another fun design is to make sea shell soap. Melt some white melt and pour soap base, add some pink or purple colorant to make it look like a real sea shell, and pour the soap into a sea shell mold. Once it's cool, pop it out of the mold and you've got a beautiful sea shell soap. Ocean Waves: To make ocean wave soap, melt some clear melt and pour soap base and add blue and green colorant to create a watery look. Pour the soap into a wave-shaped mold and add some white soap base on top to create the foam of the waves. You can add some small plastic sea creatures to make it even more fun! Underwater Scene: For a more elaborate design, create an underwater scene soap. Melt some clear melt and pour soap base and pour it into a rectangular mold. Once it's cool, cut it into smaller rectangles to create the scene. Melt some blue, green, and purple soap base and pour it into the mold to create the underwater background. Add some plastic sea creatures and plants.
